The alternative hanging methods for a hammock chair are by tree strap, or by screw hook into the roof. If you don't have the right hanging location or can't install a hook info the roof (eg. living in an apartment or renting), you will find the stand exceptionally useful.
The stand measures 2.1m tall, it's easy to assemble, and it comes with an S-hook, chain and carabiner to allow you to adjust the hanging height of your chair.

The tightly woven cotton rope makes the seat both comfortable and supportive. It is both beautiful and neutrally coloured, making it look great with almost any decor, and the addition of the tassels sets it apart.

Cotton should be protected from the elements to maximise its life. The stand, while powder coated for weather resistance, should be protected too. The combo is most suitable for indoor or verandah use, but if using it outdoors, just bring it under cover when not in use.
